Individual Blocks

Openings
the windows with wooden bars and shutters provide ventilation but lack a screen, which provides a way for mosquitoes to enter the home.
Interior Spaces
The beds comprise of a mattress, sheets, and mosquito nets. The brick walls contain substantial gaps, and open eaves provide ventilation but also mosquito access.
Environmental Data
To better understand the possibility of mosquito bite rates and thermal comfort of the occupants, carbon dioxide, light intensity, and temperature were measured in the house.
